Becoming Digital is a year long research project exploring the post-digital nature of architecture and visual culture in the current technological climate. Curtis Roth's An Amazon Earth Archive workshop aims to make visible the geographic connectivity and labor forces involved in digital manipulation. By using self-created .gifs, stacked upon each other in code, and operating on Amazon's servers around the globe, the technological map begins to draw itself.

The work was presented at the Becoming Digital Conference in January and February of 2018 at The University of Michigan.
